Access Training
Parent Access for Power School opens on October 3 for the 2011-2012 school year
An in-person training for parents will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 in room 5A in the school. Parents who are comfortable with online access can follow the instructions below after signing the disclaimer and obtaining the letter containing the initial ID and password.
For anyone not attending the in-person training, letters will be sent home by September 30th containing the initial access ID and password for each 3rd grade student or student new to the school in grades 4-8 providing that the disclaimer has been signed.
The disclaimer form is available online or may be obtained upon request from Carol White cwhite@cmoq.org

First time users (parents new to third grade or new to the school in grades 3-8):
Click on “Create account” button near bottom of screen
Enter your first name
Enter your last name
Enter your e mail address
Create a desired user name (remember this as the school does not keep a record)
Create a desired password (must be at least 6 characters – remember this as the school does not keep a record)
Reenter the desired password
Under the section “Link Students to Account”
Enter the first and last name of the student
Enter the Access ID (this is obtained through the Power School administrator, Carol White)
Enter your relationship to the student i.e. Mother, Father
Click enter
For users of Parent Access with children already in Power School:
Login in using the user name and password you created
If you have forgotten your user name or password, you are able to reset the username or password. The school does not have a record.
You have the ability to add a child. You will need the child’s initial Access ID and password. These are obtained through the PowerSchool administrator, Carol White
