The School of the Cathedral hosted the 14th Annual Welcome Summer Picnic held on Tuesday, June 7th on the grounds of the school. It was a nice way to celebrate the end of the school year and welcome summer.

The school and parish community also had a chance to visit with Pep Perrella, wear their Pep’s Pals T-shirts and enjoy a beautiful evening while the kids had fun with sand art, face-painting, corn hole games and great food, provided by Pep.

Families, friends and staff recognized Pep’s years of service and presented him with a gift for his years of service to the school and parish community.

Please remember Pep and his family in your prayers. Thomas “Pep” Perrella, died September 25th, the day after his 59th birthday, following his nine-month struggle with stage IV Cancer. We will always remember Pep fondly for his years of dedicated service at the School of the Cathedral.
