AOL:
(This works in versions 5.0, 5.1 & 6.0 and possibly earlier versions.) Click the settings tab, select preferences, then internet properties, fonts, then in the web page font, select
"Verdana" or another large, clear font of your choice, from the drop-down list. You may also use a different browser like IE or Netscape by logging on with AOL, then minimize the window and open Netscape or IE. There it is easier to view. (Minimizing the window: In the upper right
corner of the window, click the "_" (the underline) which is located next to the double square and
"X")
INTERNET EXPLORER:
Click "View" on the toolbar, Click "text size", then you have a choice of 5 font sizes. This will also help if you have many pages to print, you can make the font small which will also print in a small size.
NETSCAPE:
Click "view", then click "text size", then a side menu will allow you to select 10 different settings including one you may create. This will allow a zoom of up to 300%.

TWO ADDITIONAL "OPTIONS" FOR FONT SIZES: (this changes
system settings)
1. START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, INTERNET OPTIONS, FONT, and then select 'Verdana".
2. START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, INTERNET OPTIONS, ACCESSIBILITIES, and then CLICK IGNORE FONT SIZES - This will default to a 12 pt size
(or larger) which is larger than what these pages are designed. |
