By choosing a Catholic school, a family is choosing to invest in a child's future. A Catholic school education is a financial investment, and our graduates and their families would attest that it is well worth it!
The tuition breakdown is found below followed by more information on how our school works to make Catholic education affordable and accessible for all families who seek it.

The School of the Cathedral has two categories of tuition rates:
Parishioner Rate: This rate applies to children of Cathedral of Mary Our Queen Parishioners. For tuition billing purposes, a parishioner is defined as a registered and contributing member of the parish. A parishioner with no record of church contributions will be assessed at the non-parishioner rate per child at the next billing.
Non-Parishioner Rate: The rate applies to those who are not defined above.

Grant & Aid
It is understood and appreciated the financial commitment and sacrifice families undertake in deciding to send their children to a Catholic school. And although paying for education is first and foremost the responsibility of a family, each school, parish and the Archdiocese of Baltimore devote significant funds each year to financial aid programs that help assist families. In turn, our school communities benefit by attracting students that otherwise would not be able to attend our schools.
Welcome grants are now available for 2018-2019 school year applicants!
Students entering grades 1 – 7 who transfer to the School of the Cathedral from public, non-Catholic private or home school are eligible to receive a grant for:
- $2,000 off tuition in the first year of enrollment
- $1,000 off tuition in the second year of enrollment
Grants are offered for each eligible applicant enrolling in the 2018 – 2019 school year. There are no limits for families with multiple students. Online grant applications must be submitted by December 1, 2017.

The highest compliment our parents can pay us is the referral of family or friends for an education at our school. To show our appreciation of your trust and confidence, we are excited to announce our New Student Referral Program.
All families with students currently enrolled at the School of the Cathedral are eligible to receive a $500 Tuition credit for new student referrals.
To receive credit:
- Refer a student to our school.
- Make sure the prospective family mentions your name on the online Inquiry Form.
- A $500 credit will be applied to your FACTS account once the referred student completes the enrollment process.

The Tuition Assistance Policy is according to the Archdiocesan Guidelines for the Catholic Schools Project. Cathedral offers financial assistance on the basis of need and monies available for tuition assistance. A monthly payment plan is available to all families. Application forms need to completed through FACTS. Requests outside the stated policy should be addressed to the Principal.
