8th grade - Return Devices

As we come to the close of the school year, we recognize some students may have left materials inside the classrooms and lockers. Additionally, the school needs to collect technology that was deployed, such as Chromebook, iPads, and the associated chargers, as well as textbooks, library books, and novels.

8th Grade Graduation

Graduation will still be held on June 5th. At 10 AM, there will be a virtual prayer service and awards ceremony via Zoom. Students, families, and relatives are all welcome to attend this ceremony. We will gather together in prayer, recognize the students' accomplishments from their tenure at Cathedral, share which high schools students will be attending, and the Commissioner-General of the Student Council, Lars Barth, will give the traditional graduation speech. At 12 PM on June 5th, we will hold an in-person diploma conferral. Families (student + maximum of four additional family members) will be given a specific time to arrive at church in 5-minute increments. All students and family members entering the church will need to wear masks. Before coming, all members must take their temperature at home - no one may attend if they are not feeling well, have a fever, etc. Students may wear their graduation attire or more casual clothes if they desire. Ushers will be outside to guide the families accordingly. Only one family will be allowed in the church at a time. Students and a limited number of family members (no more than four, plus the student) will enter through the Narthex of the Church and proceed down the center aisle to the sanctuary. The diploma will be awarded to the student, as well as any physical awards from the prayer service and awards ceremony. Students will be able to have their picture taken before exiting the church through one of the side exits.
