Notes from the Principal's Desk: A big thank you, and Happy New Year!

The School of the Cathedral faculty and staff would like to express our gratitude to all of those in the community who donated to the CASPA Christmas Fund. Your generous donation provided CASPA the opportunity to express your thanks with a monetary gift to the faculty and staff at school right before Christmas break, which was very much appreciated.  We are grateful for the support of the parent community this school year.

This weekend, an email will update parents on the realignment of the A/B day schedule to ensure an equitable distribution of A and B days.  Any changes will not take place until after our return the first week of school.

We wish all of the students, parents, guardians, grandparents, and special friends a Happy New Year!  We can hardly wait to see everyone again after a much well-deserved break. Below I share a prayer for the New Year written by Joseph Shadle, Director for The Center for Mission and Identity at Xavier University. May we be grateful for all of the things God has given us and work together towards a prosperous New Year!

God of Love,
You are with us in every transition and change.
As we enter into this new era with excitement and even some anxiety, we recall your deep compassion, presence, and abounding love.
We thank you for the gifts, talents, and skills with which you have blessed us.
We thank you for the experiences that have brought us to this moment.
We thank you for the work of others that gives breadth and depth to our own work.
Be with us as we move forward, rejoicing with you, and supporting one another.
We ask this in your Holy Name.

God Bless,
Michael Wright
