Notes from the Principal's Desk: end-of-year survey

Today the eighth grade celebrated their many achievements with a brunch and slide show following their awards ceremony. We are so proud of our soon-to-be graduates and wish them the best of luck as they move on to high school!

It is hard to imagine but next week brings us to the end of the school year. The end of the school year is a perfect time for us to reflect what we have done well and where there may be some opportunities for improvement. We want your feedback through this brief ten-question survey

This survey will not only help us plan for next year but will also provide vital feedback as we continue to work on the strategic plan. We encourage everyone to take some time to complete the survey, whether you have negative feedback or positive. It is only when we hear from everyone that we can develop a fuller picture of how the community perceives the school and understand how the community is expressing its desires for the future.

Next Wednesday, 6/12, we have our awards ceremony for students in grades K-7 in thegym. Beginning at 8 AM, Kindergarten through grade three will kick off the awards ceremonies. Grades four through seven will have their awards ceremony from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM in the gym. We invite parents, guardians, and special friends to join us next Wednesday. Remember, dismissal is at 11:45 AM on Wednesday 6/12! This is also the last day for CED.

Thursday 6/13 is the last day of school for students. There will be a Closing Liturgy at 8:15 AM in the Cathedral and students will be dismissed at 11:45 AM. There is no CED on the13th. Summer reading and math instructions should be going home soon with students and we will be sure to place the requirements on the school website as well. If your student will be absent on the last day of school, please call the school over thesummer to make arrangements to pick up the final Progress Report. No Progress Reports will be mailed.

Faculty will meet Friday 6/14 for their last day before heading off for the summer. Theschool office should be open four days a week during the summer: Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 1 PM.

Have a great rest of the week and don’t forget to take the End of Year Survey!

God bless,
Michael Wright
