Notes from the Principal's Desk: featuring a Grandparents and Special Friends SCMOQ TV!
Today, we are excited to have hosted Grandparents and Special Friends Day. The students, faculty, and staff worked so hard to host our visitors and ensure they have a great day. A reminder that today is an early dismissal day at 11:45; CED is open. We ask that grandparents and special friends who would like to leave early with a student to check out with the student’s homeroom teacher so that we can make sure who is going home with who and when they are leaving. Sadly, I am not able to be attendance, as I must attend an Archdiocesan Principal meeting. However, the students, faculty and staff were excited to welcome our visitors today. Watch today's special edition of SCMOQ TV!
Lately, we have noticed an increase in Wednesday folder flyers turning up in the school recycle bins. We are asking for help in reminding the students to bring home all Wednesday folder materials and let the parents/guardians decide which flyers should be recycled. Teachers will also be reminding students to do this as well.
We are excited to host our first “Be a Mustang for a Day” event on Wednesday, May 15th. We invite all students in Kindergarten through 6thgrade to bring a friend to school so that they can spend a shadow day at Cathedral and learn more about what it means to be a mustang! A flyer was sent earlier, but you can contact our Admissions Director, Fiona Diemer, for more information. Finally, as we come to the end of the year, I’d like to share some dates for next school year to help you in your planning process.
