Notes from the Principal's Desk: Week of November 29

Note from Principal Wright + Christmas Tree Lighting

We hope that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and restful break. It is good to have the students back in the building during this Advent season. It is hard to imagine that Christmas break is only 13 school days away!

This Saturday the Parish will hold its annual Christmas Tree lighting at 6 pm right after the 5 PM Mass. All are encouraged to join for Mass, pizza, carols, and hot coco and cookies after the tree lighting.

Families should RSVP if they plan to attend and can sign up by visiting this link: 2021 CMOQ Tree Lighting.

We hope to see you there!

Building Access

This week we had a parent entered the school to volunteer without being buzzed in from the reception area or office. It appears another parent let the volunteer in the building while Ms. Melbourne and Mrs. Seiler were pulled away from their stations completing another task. While this may seem to be a kind act it does place the students, faculty, and staff at risk as we do not now who is entering the school. The students have been so good about not opening the doors and we ask that parents do not open the door for volunteers or visitors who wish to enter the school. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
